Holargos today, after expanding to occupy areas beyond its original plan to the limits of the Municipalities of Papagos and Agia Paraskevi, is a uniform residential complex.

It borders the Municipalities of Agia Paraskevi, Halandri, New Psychico, Papagos and through Mesogeion Ave. has direct access to the city of Athens and Mesogeia, while through "Attica Road" has fast transport links with the National Roads to Peloponnese and northern Greece.

It is built at an altitude of 210m at the slopes of Hymettus Mountain and is primarily a residential area. It has an area of about 350 hectares and, according to the 2001 census, 32,166 inhabitants.
