Dimitris Nikolaou is 52 years old, married and a father of three children.
He is a successful entrepreneur. He was a senior executive at multinational companies and is now among the most dynamic manufacturers in the Greek market in the area of special buildings. His main projects are the building of the Bank of Cyprus at Alexandras Avenue and the Administrative Courts of Athens at Riankour st.
He has been actively engaged with the local government since 1975. He is an elected member of the Board of T.E.D.K.N.A. (Local Union of Municipalities and Communities of Attica), elected member of the Supervisory Board of K.E.D.K.E. (Central Union of Municipalities and Communities of Greece), of the Commission of State Planning - Environment of K.E.D.K.E. and member of the Board of the Association of 21 Municipalities of the NE Sector of the Athens Prefecture.
He was president of the historical Holargos Sports Fans Group, is president of the Musical Association of Holargos and member of many cultural and charitable organizations.
He is currently Mayor Holargos and for a second term elected member of the Board of T.E.D.K.N.A.
